FC36MV 110V High Power 3-Phase Dual Mode Thyristor Driver

The FC36MV 110V Dual Mode Firing Board is a high-power, microprocessor-based three-phase thyristor driver engineered for demanding industrial power control applications. Designed as a populated PCB for seamless integration into three-phase SCR power assemblies, it provides accurate and reliable control of thyristors (SCRs) across a wide range of industrial heating, rectification, and power conversion systems.

Configured for 110V AC operation, the FC36MV simplifies installation by eliminating the need for external phasing transformers through its direct gate/cathode outputs. With selectable Phase Angle, Burst Fire, and Combination firing modes, automatic phase rotation correction, phase-loss detection, adjustable ramp control, and over-current protection, it delivers exceptional flexibility, precision, and reliability for industrial power management.

Operation

The FC36MV 110V Firing Board generates precise gate firing pulses for high-power three-phase SCR assemblies. Users can select Phase Angle, Burst Fire, or Combination firing modes to suit a wide variety of industrial power control applications.

The controller accepts analogue voltage, current, or digital opto-isolated control signals and incorporates an adjustable soft-start ramp to minimise electrical stress during start-up. Automatic phase rotation correction and phase-loss detection simplify commissioning while enhancing operational reliability. Integrated over-current protection helps safeguard both the controller and connected equipment during fault conditions.

Selectable resistive or inductive load operation makes the FC36MV suitable for virtually any three-phase SCR-controlled power system.
