Description
FC36M 415V 3-Phase Dual Mode Thyristor Driver (c/w DIN Housing)
The FC36M 415V Dual Mode Firing Board (c/w DIN Housing) is a microprocessor-based three-phase thyristor driver designed for accurate and reliable SCR (thyristor) control in industrial power control systems. Supplied complete with a DIN rail mounting enclosure, it offers a compact and robust solution for panel builders and OEMs requiring simple installation and dependable performance.
Supporting both phase-angle and burst-fire firing modes, the FC36M provides flexible control of resistive and inductive loads across a wide range of industrial heating, motor control, and power conversion applications. Configured for 415V AC operation, this model eliminates the need for external phasing supply transformers, reducing wiring complexity while providing opto-isolated control inputs, adjustable ramp control, over-current protection, and an RJ45 communications port.

Operation
The FC36M firing board generates precise gate firing pulses for three-phase SCR power controllers. Users can select between phase-angle firing for proportional power regulation or burst-fire control for efficient switching of resistive heating loads.
The controller accepts analogue voltage, current, or digital opto-isolated control signals and includes an adjustable soft-start ramp to minimise electrical stress during start-up. Built-in over-current protection provides a latching trip function to help protect both the controller and connected equipment.
The selectable load configuration allows operation with both resistive and inductive loads, providing excellent flexibility for industrial power control applications.
