IRK.91 Series 95A Dual Thyristor Power Module
The IRK.91 Dual Thyristor Power Module is a high-performance SCR module designed for reliable control of high-current AC and DC power circuits. Built with an electrically isolated base plate, this module allows direct mounting to common heatsinks, simplifying mechanical design and enabling compact power assemblies.
Thyristors (SCRs) act as bistable solid-state switches—triggered by a gate signal and remaining conductive while forward biased—making them ideal for controlled rectification, temperature regulation, and motor speed control.
This module is a direct equivalent to IXYS Corporation MCC95-16IO1 and Ruttonsha International Rectifier Ltd IRKT91/16, ensuring easy replacement in existing designs.
