AFM11 Universal Phase Angle Trigger Module

The AFM11 Universal Phase Angle Trigger Module is a versatile and high-performance power control solution designed for precise phase-angle regulation of AC and DC loads. Engineered for demanding industrial environments, it provides reliable triggering for TRIACs, thyristors and hybrid power devices across a wide voltage range of up to 480VAC.

With advanced control functionality including adjustable soft-start, current limit feedback and signal matching, the AFM11 enables smooth and accurate power delivery to resistive and inductive loads alike. Its pulse-train firing system, delivered through an isolation transformer, ensures stable and consistent operation even in complex power assemblies.

APPLICATIONS

This unit is applicable to most ac or dc, resistive or inductive loads.  Typically used in complete power assemblies (stacks) for controlling thyristors, triac or hybrid diodes on single-phase to neutral, or phase-to-phase supplies, within the line voltage limits (see typical power connections section).
