Description

The PR3-DIN range of thyristor stacks offers seamless control of three-phase electric heating loads from a Building Management System (BMS) or similar controller. Utilising zero volts switching technology, these burst firing controllers minimise Radio Frequency Interference (RFI) issues. Available in 12kW and 18kW models for a typical AC voltage supply of 415V, they employ a two-thirds control technique. Key features include DIN rail mounting capability, DC voltage signal control, temperature trip with automatic reset, alarm output, and LED ‘OUTPUT-ON’ indication. Additionally, these models provide easy access to internal signal and power terminals and require no additional heatsink for any power rating. The three models in this build include the 27kW model, which is forced-air cooled.
