The Infresco-VR Smooth Dimmer 4kW Controller is designed to provide a complete and intelligent control solution for outdoor heating applications, with user comfort and energy efficiency as the primary focus. Specifically engineered for use with infrared heaters—such as outdoor heating and lighting systems—it is also suitable for any application where high in-rush currents are a concern, thanks to its integrated soft-start technology. The controller supports loads of up to 4kW, ensuring reliable performance across commercial, hospitality, and industrial environments.

Featuring ten incremental variable power settings, the controller allows precise adjustment to achieve the optimal comfort level for any space. When equipped with optional energy-saving accessories, the system automatically manages heater operation once switched on and set. The optional temperature sensor continuously monitors ambient conditions, activating the heaters only when the temperature falls below the preset level. In addition, an optional Passive Infrared (PIR) motion sensor detects occupancy, ensuring heaters operate only when movement is detected—maximising energy savings without compromising comfort.

The integrated soft-start function gradually applies power to the heaters, reducing electrical stress, simplifying installation, and extending heater lamp life by up to 30%.
